Admissions

Section 89 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (the 1998 Act) requires every admission authority to determine, before the beginning of the school year, the admission arrangements that are to apply for that year, in accordance with the timetable set out in the School Admission Code 2014 (SAC). Although we have not made any changes to our Admissions Policy in recent years, and do not plan any changes for 2018 either, it also states that schools must fully consult with all interested parties every 7 years, and we are therefore carrying out this consultation process for our draft 2018 Admissions Policy, a copy of which can be found here.

 

The consultation process commences from 1st November 2016 and closes on 31st December 2016.  Anyone wishing to comment on the School’s proposed Admissions Policy for 2018 should contact Mrs Jacqui Green, PA to the Headteacher at j.green@swr.gloucs.sch.uk
