School Trips

One of the highlights of a child’s school career is a residential visit, either in the UK or abroad and we have a wide variety of opportunities available at SWR. Every year there is a languages visit for Year 7, an activities trip to Bude for Year 8 and Year 9 travel to the First World War Battlefields in Belgium and France.  In addition there are biannual school trips to Austria to ski and the Ardeche for water sports. These two school trips are open to students of all ages.  We have also taken students to Iceland on a Geography field trip and New York in previous years. In addition student from SWR have participated in World Challenge events and have bene as far afield as Borneo and Tanzania.
