Support for Learning

Support for Learning

An introduction to Support for Learning

At Sir William Romney’s we believe that all students, irrespective of ability or need , are respected and valued as individuals and this is reflected in all aspects of the school. Students with SEND are integrated and included fully into the life of the school as a whole, including its social and cultural activities. All members of staff have a responsibility to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to attain their maximum potential in all aspects of the curriculum.

 Local Offer

SWR is an inclusive school and we aim to ensure that our students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) experience a high quality education. We want them to feel happy, safe and to make good progress in their learning. The Local Offer is a summary of how we identify and support students with additional needs.
