We are a proudly comprehensive school that firmly believes that our broad and varied curriculum inspires students to become the very best versions of themselves.  Our school ethos is underpinned by our three core values:

  • Aspiration
  • Collaboration
  • Resilience

Our core values are an integral part of all aspects of school life, from our curriculum and personal development delivery to our varied enrichment activities. We understand that every student is unique and all staff are absolutely committed to help each one develop their independence, confidence and self-esteem; offering each individual student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Sir William Romney’s School is a relatively small school located in semi-rural Tetbury. We enjoy an excellent reputation as a caring and inclusive school where every child is known as an individual. Our high-quality teaching, and wide range of extra-curricular activities, enable all students to make outstanding academic and pastoral progress.

As reflected in our excellent GCSE results, we have high academic expectations of all our students and offer a creative and aspirational curriculum whilst also promoting traditional values by expecting high standards of behaviour, uniform and attendance.

I am proud to be the Headteacher of Sir William Romney’s School and look forward to working closely with students, staff, parents and our local community to continue to provide students with the very best educational standards and inspirational enrichment opportunities.
